Webflow Revamp for a Growing Nonprofit

MAPS National, a growing nonprofit supporting Muslim American public servants, needed to improve and expand its existing Webflow website. I cleaned up its class structure, fixed responsive issues, and built new reusable components, sections, and pages to create a more scalable web experience.

MAPS National — Webflow Website Improvement

The Project

As the website evolved, the Webflow project had started to become difficult to maintain and expand.

  • Inconsistent class naming and styling structure

  • Existing components were not always easy to reuse

  • Layout and responsiveness needed refinement

  • New content required additional sections and pages

  • The growing number of programs, events, updates, and resources required a more scalable website structure

This was particularly important for MAPS because the website needed to communicate a wide range of content from career support and community programs to events, updates, membership, and advocacy.

The Challenge

MAPS National is a U.S.-based nonprofit focused on supporting Muslim American public servants through career development, community, mentorship, and advocacy.

I joined the project to improve their existing Webflow website, resolve structural issues, and help expand the site as the organization and its content continued to grow.

My Role & Approach

The work gave MAPS a cleaner and more scalable Webflow foundation for continued growth.

The improved class structure made the project easier to maintain, while reusable components made it simpler to build and update new content. New pages and sections also allowed the organization to communicate its programs, events, resources, and community initiatives more effectively.

The result: a more organized Webflow project, improved responsive experience, and a website structure better prepared for ongoing content and feature expansion.

The Outcome

I worked directly within the existing Webflow project rather than rebuilding the website from scratch.

01 — Cleaned the Webflow structure
Reviewed and fixed inconsistent class naming and styling patterns to create a cleaner and more manageable foundation.

02 — Fixed existing issues
Resolved layout, spacing, responsiveness, and component-level issues across the existing website.

03 — Built new components
Created reusable components that could be used consistently across different sections and pages.

04 — Expanded the website
Designed and developed new sections and pages to support MAPS' growing content and organizational needs.

05 — Maintained visual consistency
Made sure new work fit naturally within the existing brand and design system instead of feeling disconnected from the rest of the website.
